The High-Tech Plant Rybniye Korma (Fish Feed) Has Been Launched in Special Economic Zone Lotus

Rybniye Korma JSC, a tenant of SEZ Lotus, celebrated the launch of the first phase of the aquaculture feed plant. The event was attended by the Governor Igor Babushkin and General Director of Rybniye Korma JSC Vladimir Demotko.

The plant will primarily focus on the production of feed for sturgeon and catfish. It will also produce feed for trout, salmon, seabass, and dorado. Domestic raw materials are used for production, including those grown in the Astrakhan Region.

According to the company's representatives, the plant is among the TOP-5 producers in Russia in terms of the volume of manufactured products – its first phase was designed to produce 25 thousand tons of feed per year. The equipment, which includes a double control system of raw material in the laboratory, allows to produce high-class extruded high quality extruded feeds in different size fractions - from 2 to 12 mm - depending on market needs.

 – The products will make it possible to substitute imported analogues, which is particularly important in the context of sanctions and the significant growth of import prices. And we will continue to create conditions for attracting and maintaining an effective operation of investors for the benefit of the region and the country, – emphasized Igor Babushkin, the Governor of the Astrakhan Region.

The plant currently employs about 80 people. Once the second phase of the plant becomes operational in 2025, the volume of production will increase to 50 thousand tons per year. The investment at the current stage amounts to 2.5 billion rubles. The company's products are manufactured under the F3 – Healthy Growth Formula brand.
