Lotus SEZ Tenants Were Informed About the Use of the Representation Mark of the Astrakhan Region

The Caspian Cluster of SEZs Management Company (SEZ Lotus JSC) hosted a presentation of the Representation Mark and the brand identity of the Astrakhan Region. Employees of the Center for Strategic Analysis and Project Management of the Administration of the Astrakhan Region Governor informed the SEZ Lotus tenant companies about the advantages of using official branded elements of the region in the production of their products.

The use of brand identity allows local manufacturers to increase customer recognition and trust. This is a kind of quality mark of Astrakhan goods and services: the Representation Mark is based on the symbols of the region, such as the Astrakhan Kremlin and the Volga River, which are primarily associated with our region.

The brand identity of the region can be freely used by everyone, while the Representation Mark requires a special permit. In order to obtain it, the applicant should contact the Center for Strategic Analysis and Project Management and provide the necessary package of documents. The right to use the mark is granted to local producers of goods and services on a free-of-charge basis.

To date, the Representation Mark is already used by about 300 local organizations and entrepreneurs. Brand representatives can receive targeted loans on special preferential terms, as well as additional points when participating in local quality competitions and other benefits.

“Our tenants already produce industrial products of wide use, such as geosynthetics, fish feed. Next year, the Iranian plant Roza plans to start the production of shampoos, shower gels and other products. The use of the Representation Mark of the Astrakhan Region for branding the products of our tenants is useful both for the promotion of the territory where these products are produced, and the products themselves, since the brand of the Astrakhan Region is already a kind of quality mark, it is recognized and trusted,"- comments Andrey Nalimov, Deputy Director General of SEZ Lotus JSC
