The very first production of third generation medical syringes has been established in SEZ «Lotus» in Russia

Today the first step was made in laying the foundation of the manufacturing factory specializing in the production of auto-disable third generation syringes. The event took place in terms of the second International Caspian Technology Forum "Technocaspy - 2017" involving the regional leadership and forum guests.

The project has been established by the Russian company “MedInTech”, which acquired the resident status of the Special Economic Zone “Lotus” in December 2016. The planned performance of the future factory will amount to 200 mln third generation syringes per year. The investments declared are 762,02 mln rubles.

According to the project investor, Nikolay Sochin, this technology is used practically all over Europe and America, and will appear in Russia in the Astrakhan area first – there are no similar factories in our country, that means that this will be the place where the implementation of the project taking care of the national health will take place.

The Astrakhan region governor indicated that this project will get a worthy support from the regional government and local authorities, the factory product must be imbedded into the healthcare system, as it effects the health of millions of people as well as the future of our country.
