A delegation from the Republic of Belarus, headed by the Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko, paid an official visit to the Astrakhan Region.

By the end of 2023, the geosynthetics plant JSC Gexa-Lotos had once again reached the capacity of 10 million square meters of products – the plant produces geotextiles for various industries, from road building to agriculture. The company plans to triple this volume in the future, which will result in additional jobs for Astrakhan citizens.

 Starting this year, the company began producing Isospan, a waterproofing material for low-rise buildings. The company's experts have worked out the entire production process, and are now ready to offer high-quality products to customers. Each machine of this production line can produce 2,5 thousand square meters of the material per day. The number of machines is 18.

 180 people are now employed at the plant. The company plans to launch the third line of the plant in the second quarter of 2024. It will produce shading nets for the agricultural industry, which will help farmers, including those in Astrakhan, to reduce losses of crops growing in open ground under the scorching sun.
